Join your hosts Dave and Jacqueline Hudson for a laid-back convergence in beautiful Sonoita, AZ. This is a small event with plenty of opportunities to connect with your fellow Xscapers. The week will be filled with winery hops, multiple live music performances, a local brewery take over, and plenty of other fun activities to participate in.

Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds
With incredible views of the nearby mountain ranges, this venue sits in the heart of the rustic town of Sonoita, AZ. Sonoita is the gateway to the often overlooked, yet beautiful Arizona Wine Country.
Event Highlights
Winery Hops
Hop on the bus for a multi-stop tour of a few of the local wineries. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy their selections and relax with your fellow Xscapers.
Xscapers Lot Crawl
Think of it like a progressive dinner but so much more fun! The lot crawl is fan-favorite convergence activity. As a group, we travel from section to section giving everyone the opportunity to share a snack and/or beverage with fellow Xscapers. This is an excellent time to open your rig to tours, if you'd like.
Open Mic Night
Sing a song, perfect your comedy standup routine, play the bongos for 20 minutes straight. It's an open mic, which means if you have something to play, say, sing, or recite, we are here to listen!
Live Music: Billy Shaw Jr.
Tucson Native Billy Shaw Jr is Arizona's go-to award-winning country music entertainer for classics, contemporary, southern rock & originals. Tucson resident and lover of all things nerd-like, Billy Shaw Jr., has a knack for music making. He is a singer, songwriter, and can play the hell out of a fiddle.
Live Music: Andy Hersey
Andy Hersey is an Arizona singer/songwriter with three full length, industry quality albums in catalog, finding early artistic influences with traditional country, blues and folk artists. As an acoustic soloist, the live performance can be eclectic depending on the requests received and is intended to be that of a campfire setting. Stories, “attempts at humor” and audience interaction are frequent.
Brewery Takeover
Just a short walk from the fairgrounds, the Copper Brothel Brewery will play host to an Xscapers takeover. With their excellent beer selection, mouth watering menu options, and extensive outdoor space, it's a great place to hang out with your new friends.
80s Night
You know, you love it, it's 80s night! Dig out you most rad 80s outfits and get ready to dance the night away to the best jams of the era.
Catered Burgers & Margarita Bar
Dig into some burgers and enjoy a few refreshing margaritas!
Corn Hole Tournament
Grab your boards and your bean bags and warm up your throwing arm. Compete with and against your fellow Xscapers in this fun and laid-back tournament.
Live Music: The Border Hookups
Xscapers own Dave and Jacqueline Hudson aren't just your hosts, they also make up the musical duo, The Border Hookups. With their mix of crafted harmonies, unique take on cover songs, and catchy originals, this husband and wife duo will keep your toe tapping throughout their entire performance.

FAQs
There are no showers on site. Port-a-potties will be provided.
We welcome your furry friends! If they are outside your rig, they must be leashed at all times. Please pick up after your pets.
Absolutely! We love kids! We ask that kids remain under supervision of their parent or guardian when out and about during the convergence.
We will have dumpsters on site. Please break down all trash to make it as small as possible, especially boxes!
There will be no early arrival or late departures for this event. Please do not plan on arriving any earlier than 9:00 am on Saturday. Sunday check-out time is 11:00am
Parking will be in a dirt/ gravel lot. The dry camping spaces will be around 25′ x 50′ in size.
Parking sections available for this event
Hook-Up Sites (Water & Electric Only): There are 9 water and electric spaces available for this event. These will sell out fast.
Dry – Solar: This section is for those who have a sufficient solar set up to meet ALL of their power needs. There is no generator use allowed in this section unless there is inclement weather. (Please understand that even if you choose to park in this section, you may still hear generators running. We are all parked close together and that is just the nature of the beast.)
Dry – General: If you don’t fit into the pervious sections than general is for you. Specified generator hours.
If you and your spouse/ significant other travel together in separate, small rigs (25ft or smaller) you may park in the same site ONLY if you share the same SKP Number. Otherwise, only one RV/ camping vehicle per site.
Everything must fit with in your designated space. If you don’t believe you will fit it one site, you should consider purchasing a second site.
Parking for all Xscapers events are first come, first served. We do not assign sites ahead of time. If you would like to park next to someone, please arrive at the same time and be registered for the same parking section. We will try our best to park you next to those you arrive with.
There is NO dump station available on site. However, there is a dump station nearby the fairgrounds which can be used for an additional fee. As always, please arrive with your black tank empty and your water tank full and utilize your best conservation efforts during the event.
Cell phone signal is strong for all major carriers.

The main reasons for you to attend a convergence should be to have fun and meet other like-minded RVers. Networking and making potential business leads is a natural result of being part of an awesome community. We don’t want the Xscapers community to be bombarded or feel like they are a commodity. If the main reason you are wanting to attend an Xscapers event is to sell something, market to attendees, or simply to generate content we would ask that you contact us directly for corporate sponsorship.
If we must cancel the event, or your attendance at the event for any reason, including due to local health department restrictions, such as those restricting the size of gatherings, you will receive a full refund of your registration fees.
Cancellations 60+ days prior to the event: You may cancel your registration for a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee any time before 11:59pm CDT on 02/14/2023. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to registration@escapees.com
Cancellations 59-30 days prior to the event: You may cancel your registration for a 50% refund of purchase price before 11:59pm CDT on 3/16/2023. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to registration@escapees.com
No refunds will be given for cancellations after 11:59pm CST on 3/16/2023. All ticket sales on and after 3/17/2023 are final.

Is an Xscapers Convergence Right for Me?
Xscapers was formed to bring Escapees RV Club back to its original roots of supporting RVers who are working from the road. At Convergences, you will find a community of active and free-spirited individuals with a passion for travel and adventure.
About 80% of Xscapers have full-time jobs they do remotely or seasonally. This means we typically don’t hold activities during standard work hours (with the exception of Annual Bash). Starting later in the day also means later nights. We have found that this can be a factor in deciding what event program people attend.
We try to give the most fun and entertainment value at an affordable price. One way we do that is by boondocking as much as possible. Our events are also a great way for newbie boondockers to learn from experienced ones. We try to divide our camping areas into those who have solar and those who want to run generators when possible.
Xscapers is an inclusive community, connected through the bond of RVing. This means we welcome people from all walks of life, no matter race, sexual orientation, political/religious views, lifestyle or RV type. Discrimination of any type will not be tolerated.

- Dry sites are approximately 25ft x 50ft.
- Your RV and tow vehicle must fit entirely within your site. If additional room is needed, you may need to purchase an additional site.
- You must be a member of Escapees RV Club to attend.

After Registering
You will receive confirmation of your registration to your given email address within a few minutes of purchase. It will include a link to the event Facebook group. Also, be on the look out for additional e-mails as the event draws closer.

We only accept credit or debit card payment for Convergence registration. All refunds will be credited to the card used at time of registration. No cash refunds.
By registering for this event, you are agreeing to the following:
- As an attendee, you assume all risk and danger relating to your personal property, RV and attendance at the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event. In the event of loss or theft, no claim will be made upon Escapees, its volunteers, employees or agents.
- Volunteers may be directing and assisting you in your parking areas. However, it is the driver of the vehicle who is ultimately responsible for avoiding obstacles or dangerous situations and is solely responsible for any damage to one’s property or the property of others.
- As an attendee at this event, you are granting your permission to be filmed, videotaped, audiotaped, or photographed, and granting to Escapees RV Club the full use of any such recordings or images without compensation.
- By registering, you will also receive occasional email notifications of future Convergences; however, you can opt-out of these notifications at any time.
In addition to the above, you will be required during registration to agree that you will help provide a safe environment for everyone by complying with our health and safety rules, and to release Escapees RV Club from liability should you become ill during the event.
