What better place to hold a spooky Halloween Convergence than historical New Orleans! Join your fellow Xscapers for an exciting week filled with Halloween cocktail costume parties, haunted history tours, and creole food!

Shrine on Airline
The Shrine on Airline is centrally located in Jefferson Parish with quick access to downtown. The surrounding area offers a multitude of amenities and activity opportunities. The Xscapers will be taking over one of their lots to use as a home base for our Halloween event. Event Highlights
Halloween Cocktail Party
Put on your best costumes and get ready for a uniquely NOLA experience. We will kick off the night with a killer cocktail party on a private balcony over looking the famous Bourbon Street! Open bar and throwing beads included!
Haunted History Bus Tour
Strap in for a spooky ride. We’ll escape into the darkness with a licensed guide as we take a ride to some of the most haunted locations around New Orleans.
Team Trivia and Game Night
Gather your team and get ready for some pub style trivia. We’ll also play some other fun games throughout the evening.
A Taste of New Orleans
We’re eating bayou style with a shrimp and crab boil served in a traditional open table spread.

This venue is located in a suburban area. There will be traffic noise and the standard hustle and bustle that comes with parking near a large city. We will be parked in a standard parking lot with no amenities. There will be no direct access to water or electricity. Generator use may be heavy for attendees that do not have solar capabilities. We will limit generator use to daytime hours but you should be prepared for generator noise throughout the day. This convergence may not be suited for the faint of heart, the noise sensitive, or the early to bed.
Remember, this ain’t your grandma’s RV rally. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
FAQs
We will be parked in a parking lot. There will be no restrooms or showers available.
We welcome your furry friends! If they are outside your rig, they must be leashed at all times. Please pick up after your pets. Please note that many of the planned events will take us offsite for 3 or more hours.
We will not actively exclude kids from attending this event, however, some activities may not be considered kid friendly. The Halloween cocktail party will be held at a local bar and those under the age of 21 will not be permitted to enter.
We will have dumpsters on site. Please break down all trash to make it as small as possible, especially boxes!
There will be no early arrival or late departure available for this event.
100% Dry camping only. We will be parking in an asphalt parking lot. This will be rally style parking which means you can expect to be close to your neighbors.
All sites will be first come, first served. If you would like to park next to someone specific, you should arrive at the same time, and we will do our best to park you near each other.
There is no water or dump station available at this location. It is IMPERATIVE that you arrive with your black tanks empty and your water tank full.
Cell phone signal is strong for all major carriers.
There will be no mailing address available for this event. There is an Amazon Locker hub located at 2301 Clearview Pkwy in Metairie.
The main reasons for you to attend a convergence should be to have fun and meet other like-minded RVers. Networking and making potential business leads is a natural result of being part of an awesome community. We don’t want the Xscapers community to be bombarded or feel like they are a commodity. If the main reason you are wanting to attend an Xscapers event is to sell something, market to attendees, or simply to generate content we would ask that you contact us directly for corporate sponsorship.
New Orleans is an expensive city. If you have ever traveled to the Big Easy on your own, you likely know that finding a camping/ RV site near downtown could cost anywhere from $450 to upwards of $800 for a week. Our cost of $500 per couple ($350 for solos) includes, not only a place to park for six nights, but also a weeks worth of awesome events. And don’t even get us started on the cost of parking downtown. If you are unable to find street parking, the pay-by-the-hour lots near the French Quarter can charge anywhere from $7 – $20 an hour. So, it’s a good thing your ticket will also include transportation to and from every off-site event. You really can’t beat his deal!

If we must cancel the event, or your attendance at the event, due to local health department restrictions, such as those restricting the size of gatherings, you will receive a full refund of your registration fees.
Cancellation Fees:
If you cancel 60+ days prior to the event: A $50 administrative fee will be deducted from your full refund. Refund request should be made in writing to registration@escapees.com no later than 8/31/2022 at 11:59 pm
If you cancel 59 – 30 days prior to the event: You will receive a 50% refund of your registration fee. Refund requests should be made in writing to registration@escapees.com no later than 9/30/2022 at 11:59 pm
If you cancel within 30 days of the event: No refund will be issued.
We only accept credit or debit card payment for Convergence registration. All refunds will be credited to the card used at time of registration. No cash refunds.

Is an Xscapers Convergence Right for Me?
Xscapers was formed to bring Escapees RV Club back to its original roots of supporting RVers who are working from the road. At Convergences, you will find a community of active and free-spirited individuals with a passion for travel and adventure.
About 80% of Xscapers have full-time jobs they do remotely or seasonally. This means we typically don’t hold activities during standard work hours (with the exception of Annual Bash). Starting later in the day also means later nights. We have found that this can be a factor in deciding what event program people attend.
We try to give the most fun and entertainment value at an affordable price. One way we do that is by boondocking as much as possible. Our events are also a great way for newbie boondockers to learn from experienced ones. We try to divide our camping areas into those who have solar and those who want to run generators when possible.
Xscapers is an inclusive community, connected through the bond of RVing. This means we welcome people from all walks of life, no matter race, sexual orientation, political/religious views, lifestyle or RV type. Discrimination of any type will not be tolerated.

You must be a member of Escapees RV Club to attend this Convergence.

- Tickets must be purchased online through this website.
- Tickets are non-transferable.
After Registering
You will receive confirmation of your registration to your given email address within a few minutes of purchase. It will include a link to the event Facebook group. Also, be on the look out for additional e-mails as the event draws closer.
Cancellation
If we must cancel the event, or your attendance at the event, due to local health department restrictions, such as those restricting the size of gatherings, you will receive a full refund of your registration fees.
Cancellation Fees:
If you cancel 60+ days prior to the event: A $50 administrative fee will be deducted from your full refund. (Refund requests must be in writing by 11:59 PM CDT, August 31st, 2022.)

By registering for this event, you are agreeing to the following:
- As an attendee, you assume all risk and danger relating to your personal property, RV and attendance at the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event. In the event of loss or theft, no claim will be made upon Escapees, its volunteers, employees or agents.
- Volunteers may be directing and assisting you in your parking areas. However, it is the driver of the vehicle who is ultimately responsible for avoiding obstacles or dangerous situations and is solely responsible for any damage to one’s property or the property of others.
- As an attendee at this event, you are granting your permission to be filmed, videotaped, audiotaped, or photographed, and granting to Escapees RV Club the full use of any such recordings or images without compensation.
- By registering, you will also receive occasional email notifications of future Convergences; however, you can opt-out of these notifications at any time.
In addition to the above, you will be required during registration to agree that you will help provide a safe environment for everyone by complying with our health and safety rules, and to release Escapees RV Club from liability should you become ill during the event.
