The Xscapers are headed back to Salida, CO for another fun filled Independence Day celebration! Xscapers of all ages will find something at to do at this event including the 5 day Salida Circus Summer Camp. With plenty of live music, group fun and games, and even the Neon Silent Disco and Bounce House Extravaganza, you should be prepared for some summer time fun as we descend on this beautiful Colorado community.

Chaffee County Fairgrounds
Surrounded by incredible views of the nearby mountain ranges, this venue is convenient to anything an Xscaper might need or want. There is BLM land nearby, as well as incredible hiking and 4x4 trials just a short distance away. The well maintained bike path makes for a fun and safe bike ride directly into downtown Salida.

Potluck Brunch
Bring your best brunch dish to pass. We will get Sunday Funday started with the potluck brunch. This is also a great time to bring out your Bloody Marys and Mimosas.
Sunday Funday
We will hold a corn hole tournament, plays some other lawn games, and generally just have a good time. Bring out your chair and beverages and get ready to spend the day doing just as much as you want to.
Christmas in July Lot Crawl
It's the lot crawl like you've never experienced it. Pull out those Christmas decorations, dust off that Santa hat, and crank up the holiday tunes. As a group, we travel from section to section giving everyone the opportunity to share your favorite holiday snack and/or beverage with fellow Xscapers. This is an excellent time to open your rig to tours, if you'd like. Games and costumes are highly encouraged.
4th of July Festivities and Party in the Park
For a small town, Salida has a great line up of 4th of July festivities. We will head to Riverside park where we will enjoy music and entertainment on the Rotary Club stage. The park is within walking distance to all the amazing bars, restaurants, and shops. You can either remain downtown for the fireworks or head back up to the fairgrounds where we have an excellent view of the show.
Fun Street Arcade Takeover
We are taking over the Fun Street Family Arcade complete with free games, VR play, and even a golf simulator. BYOB and food. We will be located across the street from Moonlight Pizza and Brewpub, so you can run over and grab some food and brews to-go!
Brewery Tour and Takeover
Elevation Beer Co. is right next to the fairgrounds. We will get the opportunity to take a private tour of the brewery and spend the evening enjoying great brews and live local music. The food truck onsite will be open until 7:00 pm
Catered Dinner
No need to cook tonight. Enjoy a catered meal with your fellow Xscapers.
Neon Silent Disco and Bounce House Extravaganza
Put on your light up attire, throw on the silent disco headphones, and get to bouncing! What do bounce houses and silent disco have to do with one another? Absolutely nothing but for some reason it is a lot of fun when you combine the two!

Salida Circus Summer Camp
Starting on Sunday, kids and adults alike can take part in the Salida Circus Summer Camp. Learn to juggle, tumble, or just be a clown. Kids will also be invited to join the Salida Circus on the Rotary Club Stage during their 4th of July performance!
Camp will run 7/2 – 7/6, 10am – Noon.
Cost: $100 per attendee. Daily drop in rates will be offered to adults and kids who are unable to commit to the full week of camp.
Ages 5 y/o and up. 4 y/o may attend with a parent or guardian.
1/2 Day Family-Friendly Rafting Trip in Browns Canyon – SOLD OUT
This 12-mile trip begins at Fisherman’s Bridge and takes us all the way through the beautiful Browns Canyon National Monument, where we navigate 11 class III and III+ rapids. Zoom Flume, Big Drop and Widowmaker are just a few of the rapids we’ll experience on this exciting scenic trip.
Because we end this trip on private property, we are able to hit two rapids that you don’t get with any other company’s 1/2 day run, Seidel’s Suckhole and Twin Falls.
Bring the whole family on this fun and exciting trip that shows you the entirety of the Browns Canyon, one of the best rafting destination in the country. Your experience and friendly guides provide instruction as needed and make sure your journey is safe and fun.
Cost: $80 per person. Includes round-trip shuttle service from the fairgrounds. 7:30 am pick up time.

Camping At This Event
Dry Camping*
The majority of camping at this event is dry camping only. There will be 3 different parking section offered for those who will be dry camping. All dry sites will be on dirt/ gravel.
Solar Section: This section is for those with full solar set ups who do not need to rely on the use of a generator. Generator use will only be authorized in this section during times of inclement weather. If you think you will need to run your generator for any reason during the event (outside of inclement weather), the solar section is NOT FOR YOU! With that being said, even if you park in the solar section, you are still going to hear generators running in other sections. We park close together here and that is just the way it is.
Family Section: Do you have kids? Do you want the opportunity for your kids to play with other kids without having to go very far? You should check out the family section! There will be designated generator hours in this section.
General Section: You aren’t set up for running your entire rig off of solar 24/7? You don’t have kids? Well then, the general section is for you! There will be designated generator hours in this section.
30 Amp Hook Up Sites*
Due to the size of these sites (compact area and low hanging trees) and issues with electrical load capabilities of the venue, these sites will ONLY be available to rigs that are 30 ft or less. No 50 amp rigs or rigs over 30ft long will be allowed to purchase these sites. These site are on a paved surface.

There are showers and restrooms on site.
We welcome your furry friends! If they are outside your rig, they must be leashed at all times. Please pick up after your pets.
Absolutely! We love kids! We ask that kids remain under supervision of their parent or guardian when out and about during the convergence. There will be a few kids activities planned throughout the week.
We will have dumpsters on site. Please break down all trash to make it as small as possible, especially boxes!
There will be no early arrival or late departures for this event. Please do not plan on arriving any earlier than 9:00 am on Saturday. Sunday check-out time is 11:00am
At the majority of Xscapers Convergences we park in designated sections. Most dry camping spaces are 25 ft x 50 ft and small rig spaces are approximately 25 ft x 25 ft. Small rig spaces are designated for units that are 25 ft or shorter. If you have a small rig but want a big space, that’s cool with us, just be sure to select your desired section when buying your ticket.
Parking sections available for this event
30 AMP (Electric Only): Due to the size of these sites (compact area and low hanging trees) and issues with electrical load capabilities of the venue, these sites will ONLY be available to rigs that are 30 ft or less. Solar: This section is for those who have a sufficient solar set up to meet ALL of their power needs. There is no generator use allowed in this section unless there is inclement weather. (Please understand that even if you choose to park in this section, you may still hear generators running. We are all parked close together and that is just the nature of the beast.)
Small Rig Solar: Same as above but for rigs that are 25 ft or shorter.
Family: For those traveling with kids that would like to be parked near other families. Specified generator hours.
General: If you don’t fit into the pervious sections, then general is for you. Specified generator hours.

If you and your significant other travel in more than one vehicle (i.e. two vans) and you share an SKP number, you may both park in one 25′ x 50′ site. However, everything must fit within your designated space. If you don’t believe you will fit in one site, you should consider purchasing a second site. Otherwise, only one RV/rig per site.
Parking for all Xscapers events are first come, first served. We do not assign sites ahead of time. If you would like to park next to someone, please arrive at the same time and be registered for the same parking section. We will try our best to park you next to those you arrive with.
There is a dump and water station available on site for an additional fee. HOWEVER, please arrive with your black tank empty and your water tank full and utilize your best conservation efforts during the event.
Cell phone signal is strong for all major carriers.
There will be an address listed here about a week before the event to which you can have items shipped.
The main reasons for you to attend a convergence should be to have fun and meet other like-minded RVers. Networking and making potential business leads is a natural result of being part of an awesome community. We don’t want the Xscapers community to be bombarded or feel like they are a commodity. If the main reason you are wanting to attend an Xscapers event is to sell something, market to attendees, or simply to generate content we would ask that you contact us directly for corporate sponsorship.
If we must cancel the event, or your attendance at the event for any reason, including due to local health department restrictions, such as those restricting the size of gatherings, you will receive a full refund of your registration fees.
Cancellations 60+ days prior to the event: You may cancel your registration for a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee any time before 11:59pm CDT on 05/02/2023. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to registration@escapees.com
Cancellations 59-30 days prior to the event: You may cancel your registration for a 50% refund of purchase price before 11:59pm CDT on 06/01/2023. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to registration@escapees.com

Is an Xscapers Convergence Right for Me?
Xscapers was formed to bring Escapees RV Club back to its original roots of supporting RVers who are working from the road. At Convergences, you will find a community of active and free-spirited individuals with a passion for travel and adventure.
About 80% of Xscapers have full-time jobs they do remotely or seasonally. This means we typically don’t hold activities during standard work hours (with the exception of Annual Bash). Starting later in the day also means later nights. We have found that this can be a factor in deciding what event program people attend.
We try to give the most fun and entertainment value at an affordable price. One way we do that is by boondocking as much as possible. Our events are also a great way for newbie boondockers to learn from experienced ones. We try to divide our camping areas into those who have solar and those who want to run generators when possible.
Xscapers is an inclusive community, connected through the bond of RVing. This means we welcome people from all walks of life, no matter race, sexual orientation, political/religious views, lifestyle or RV type. Discrimination of any type will not be tolerated.

Standard Ticket Pricing
- Standard dry camping sites are approximately 25ft x 50ft.
- Small rig sites are designated for rigs that are 25ft or less.
- Your RV and tow vehicle must fit entirely within your site. If additional room is needed, you may need to purchase an additional site.

After Registering
You will receive confirmation of your registration to your given email address within a few minutes of purchase. It will include a link to the event Facebook group. Also, be on the look out for additional e-mails as the event draws closer.

By registering for this event, you are agreeing to the following:
- As an attendee, you assume all risk and danger relating to your personal property, RV and attendance at the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event. In the event of loss or theft, no claim will be made upon Escapees, its volunteers, employees or agents.
- Volunteers may be directing and assisting you in your parking areas. However, it is the driver of the vehicle who is ultimately responsible for avoiding obstacles or dangerous situations and is solely responsible for any damage to one’s property or the property of others.
- As an attendee at this event, you are granting your permission to be filmed, videotaped, audiotaped, or photographed, and granting to Escapees RV Club the full use of any such recordings or images without compensation.
- By registering, you will also receive occasional email notifications of future Convergences; however, you can opt-out of these notifications at any time.
In addition to the above, you will be required during registration to agree that you will help provide a safe environment for everyone by complying with our health and safety rules, and to release Escapees RV Club from liability should you become ill during the event.
