JANUARY 11-19
LAKE HAVASU, AZ

Xscapers Annual Bash is the biggest Convergence of the Year

This is it, the RV event of the year! It’s the World Series, Oscar night, and the Met Gala all rolled into one. It’s New Year’s Eve for 7 nights, it’s Christmas meets Chanukah. It’s like payday and your tax refund landed on the same day. It’s the thing people will be talking about for the next year. It’s the 5th Xscapers Annual Bash!

The Xscapers Annual Bash is back at our rodeo grounds home in Lake Havasu City Arizona. Come join us for the social event of the RVers’ year. Over 600 working-age RVers from all walks of life will descend on the edge of the Colorado River for a week of excitement, entertainment, education, games, fun, romance, and new and old friendships!

If you’ve never been to an Xscapers Annual Bash, you’ll be shocked! This ain’t your grandma’s RV rally! The days are filled with speakers covering all topics RV and RV life related including boondocking, solar, working on the road, cooking, and hobbies. The evenings are filled with a mobile party like you’ve never seen at an RV event. Dance the night away at a rave, sing out loud to classic rock and 80s bands, compete in fun games, or participate in margarita contests. Join in the theme nights and hang out by the fire till sunrise. Try craft brews, share your favorite guacamole recipe, or just try one of the dozens on offer. Indulge in local food trucks, share drinks and ideas with like minded RVers, and be part of a movement! Get out of your rig, and get to living at the Xscapers Annual Bash!

Got Questions? You may find an answer…or you may not.

Yep! You must have an active Escapees RV Club membership to join in the fun. And yes, if you are an Xscaper you are also an Escapee!
Not a member? Don’t worry we can help with that! Join

11 pm to 7 am in the “camping areas”, except for those that choose the “Party Peeps” Parking Option. *Note that their may be loud activities scheduled in the main gathering area late into the night.

You mean the thing you plug your thing into? No. But you may use your generator or collect rays from the sun.

ARRIVE WITH YOUR BLACK & GREY TANKS EMPTY! There is a Dump Station available onsite for departure day. During the week a pumper truck will be available for a small fee to come to your rig if needed.

Water is available on site to fill drinking containers throughout the event. However, you should arrive with a full tank.

Please arrive with your black & grey tanks empty and full water, enough propane for heat, and gas to run your generators.

We are all your friends here! However,  if you want to park with someone specific, meet off site and come in together so you can be parked together. No holding spaces for people.

ARRIVE DURING THE DESIGNATED ARRIVAL TIMES! We don’t want our hosts and volunteers missing out on the fun to find you a place to park in the dark. If you can not make it in on the designated arrival day or if you know you need to leave prior to the event ending, please contact us so we can try to make accommodations to your situation.

You may purchase an Early Arrival and/or Late Departure Tickets during your registration. You must arrive during the designated parking hours for your arrival date!

Yes, just add them as an additional person when purchasing your tickets. However, they can not bring their own RV.

7 am to 10 pm for all camping areas minus Solar Parking, which has strict/limited generator hours. While no one will probably yell at you if you need to keep your batteries safe, please be courteous to your neighbors and only run your generator when needed (generally for a couple hours a time). And please, do not use a contractor generator.

Of course! We do ask you keep your pet on leash and at all times due the number of other animals and two legged creatures roaming about. We shouldn’t have to say this…but pick up after your pets and don’t leave landmines for someone else to find!

Yes, you can have packages shipped, we will give you the exact address closer to the event.

All major cellphone networks work well at the rodeo grounds. We’ve also organized WiFi for those working daily at our Internet Cafe located at the main activity area that can be used a communal working space.

There is a large dumpster near the main gathering area.

Propane fires are allowed at your site. All wood fires must be burned at the designated fire ring near the facilities.

Marketing? Who has time for that? Just come and enjoy yourself! We will make an announcement if an appropriate situation allows for this. There will be an Xscapers marketplace for people with craft businesses, see schedule.
If you are interested in sponsoring the event, please contact melaniecarr@escapees.com

  • Hi, would you consider changing the evening generator times to 1800-2000 at the annual bash solar area for those with the need to use high energy cookers for dinner? We use an air fryer a (about 20 min) lot and it really sucks the batteries if on the inverter.

    Jesse & Chyerl

    • Hi Jesse!
The generator hours set for the solar section are intended for days when weather prohibits charging batteries sufficiently. These hours are available so that solar users can maintain safe levels on their batteries when needed.
If you anticipate using your generator on a daily basis, even in favorable weather, you may want to consider joining the general section instead of solar.

Hi I just joined and the event is sold out 🙁
Do you know when the next one will be held and where? Thank you!

      • Hi Lisa!
The Annual Bash is held once per year, each January.
There won’t be another until January 2021, but if you click on the Community tab in the menu, you’ll see we have a full calendar of Convergences that happen all throughout the year in different places.

  • Even with a full fresh tank, that is quite a few days of showers to accommodate even if drinking containers can be filled with water. Are there other options for refilling fresh water tanks besides jerry jugs?

    • When boondocking, there are lots of RVers who employ military-style showers (turning the water on only to rinse, then off to suds-up) to conserve freshwater and minimize greywater.

      • Military showers are our standard process. We just have 32 showers to manage over a stay of this duration with our four occupants. Thanks for the suggestion though.

    • Last year we were able to shower at Planet Fitness in Lake Havasu most days – that saved a lot of water (and grey tank capacity) for us. Membership is only about $22 per month, so this is something we use elsewhere too.

      • Thanks for your suggestion. The wife and I have been enjoying your youtube channel. Are you both going to be at the bash?

There are showers available on-site. It may not be a hot shower and there may be a line but they are available.

  • Is there a No Re-entry policy at all? I’m wondering if it’s okay to drive our tow vehicle out to get supplies. Will we be allowed back in?!

You will be able to take your vehicle in out of the event as needed for supplies or exploring. We just want to minimize larger vehicle trafficz such as Class As, Fithwheels, and trailers as an example, during the event.

We’re locals in Havasu, have an RV but would rather have an “no rig” ticket, leaving space for “out of towner’s” RV’s. Is this possible, I don’t see the option on your website.

    • Hi there!
At this time, there is no plan for walk-in tickets. However, we do typically offer a community day for those who want to visit and learn more about Xscapers. That information will be released closer to the event.

  • The website is broken. I can’t order my tickets.

  • My tickets are in my cart… but, I need to verify with Hubby… and, can I add the Boot Camp option after the fact?

    • Yes, you can! 🙂 You will likely need to call our Member Services Team to complete the purchase, but yes, you are able to add Boot Camp after you’ve purchased your Annual Bash tickets.

  • Hey there!

Very excited to attend this event for the first time. We’ve been Escapees for 4 years and attended RV boot camp when we first went fulltime-it was a great event.

Question. I write a Girlfriend Glamping Blog and now have an online store featuring products for adventurous women RVers.

I see there will be a marketplace on Sunday for crafters? Wondering if I could have my Glamping Gear at a boot that day?

    Happy Trails!

    Gretty Emmerich

    • Hi!
Yes, you should be able to put a few products out for sale. Attendees will receive more information about the marketplace as we get closer to the event.

  • Darn it! Finally got leave approved and checked the website to order tickets and the standard tickets weren’t available any more. Now we have to wait 2 months to buy more. Was the time period for standard tickets listed and I didn’t see it?

  • Is there a way to add the bootcamp on? I already bought my tickets and missed this…..

    • Hi there!
Yes, you can give us a call at 936-327-8873 and ask for registration. Kim and her team can get you set up with Boot Camp 🙂

  • What are the theme parties at the bash?

  • Missed the last registration. Does the next round really not include badges or t-shirts?

    • The final round of tickets is very close to the cut-off for us to order shirts and badges to be made for attendees. We will do our best to have both for those who purchase in the November ticket release but cannot guarantee it.

  • Is this primarily for the younger crowd or are there semi-retired (early 60’s) folks in the group?

    • Hi Tim!
Attendees vary widely in age- the more important thing to consider is if the activities on the schedule sound interesting and enjoyable to you. If so, join us for a fun week! You’ll be among lots of potential friends who enjoy some of the same things you do.
If the schedule isn’t quite appealing to you, don’t worry. We host quite a few events throughout the year including Convergences, HOPs (Head-out Program), and Hangouts, some of which may be more enticing. https://xscapers.com/xscapers-community/convergences/ https://www.escapees.com/community/calendar/

  • Good morning! It’s 7 AM East Coast Time on 13 Nov. Will tickets go on sale today? (purchase is currently disabled) Thanks!

    Hi–
I must have missed the last round of tickets. Is there a wait list?
    Thank you!

  • Is there a facebook page or app only for the Annual Bash attendees?

Hello David, yes there is a private FB group and there will also be an app published leading up to the event. Please check the email associated with your registration as a message was recently sent on how to access the FB group.
