Xscapers Meetup Weekend

November 30 - December 1

Xscapers Meetup Weekend 1
Recover from an overdose of Thanksgiving stuffing by getting together with your Xscapers family! For the 2nd year in a row, Xscapers are gathering the weekend after Thanksgiving in places all across the country to share food, laughs, and who knows what else.
Xscapers Meetup Weekend 2

This 3-day event happens all across North America, hosted by Xscapers members in locations of their choosing. From outdoor excursions to sharing meals, members come together the weekend after Thanksgiving to share in fun activities with RVing friends.

But in order to pull this off, we need your help! Offer to host a meetup and invite your family on the road to join you. These will just be casual get togethers at a restaurant, brewery, winery, hiking trail or anywhere along those lines. Head over to our Facebook group and check out the “Events” tab!

Didn't Find A Meetup In Your Area?

What do you need to do if you’re interested in hosting one?

  1. Start by picking a time and place any day on November 30th Or December 1st. In the past, members have thoroughly enjoyed breweries, restaurants, hikes, cookouts, wineries, etc.
  2. Go to the Xscapers group page on Facebook and create the event on there so others can find it. Make sure you include the location (city, state, and business), the date, the time, and a description of what attendees can expect. Easy peasy!
  3. Show up! The day of your gathering, keep an eye on your Facebook event in case any attendees need some last-minute assistance, then enjoy the afternoon or evening with your fellow RVers.

The event pages in the group will serve as the communication method between the hosts and attendees. It will help you keep track of who all will be coming and letting them know any important details or changes that might occur before the event takes place.

After you create the event, we will be marketing all available get-togethers to your fellow members.

What are you waiting for?

  • Pick a Time and Place
  • Check To See If Meetup Has Already Been Created In The Area
  • Create Event on FB Group
  • Include Description and Important Information
  • Show Up and Have Fun!

Are there any rules?

Not really! Like we mentioned before, these will just be very casual gatherings and are meant to be a fun opportunity for you to see who might be parked around you for the holidays. It should be a great way to make some new friend and possibly old ones too!

There are a few things to keep in mind, though, to make your meet-up a success.

  • If you see there is already a meetup scheduled in the city you’re in, please don’t make a duplicate event. Instead, reach out and see if you can help coordinate
  • If you’re meeting at a brewery, restaurant, or other place with limited seating, call ahead to ensure they can accommodate your group. We’ve found it’s easiest to plan for places with large outdoor seating areas.

We hope you guys are as excited as we are and will jump in to host or attend one of the gatherings!
